As a first rule, make sure that you convert your hard cash into casino chips when taking a seat at a casino Blackjack table. You may have to wait before the dealer finishes with a hand that is in progress at the time. Once he/she is done, place the cash on the side of the betting box, to prevent him/her from mistaking the cash for a bet on the next hand. Your cash is then exchanged for a corresponding amount of casino chips. You are then ready to place your bet. Thats the basic rules for a blackjack strategy.
Keep in mind that the key to winning big in a game of casino Blackjack, is to have cards that exceed the total of the dealer, and never exceed a total of 21. All cards in Blackjack are associated with a particular value. For instance, the Aces are of 11. If the total of your hand exceeds 21, the value of the Ace depreciates to a value of only 1. In the initial stages, the player places his/her chips in the betting boxes. Both dealers and players are assigned a maximum of two cards. The dealer then places one of his/her cards face up and the other face down.
As a general rule in a Blackjack strategy, the player can only deal with the cards with one hand on the table, provided they are always above the table. Depending on the value of the players’ and the dealer’s card, the player then makes a decision of whether he/she wants to place a double bet, or his/her money or simply lose half of his/her bet.
The player is the victor of the game if the value of his/her cards exceeds that of the dealer. The game is a tie if the card values of both are the same. |
